01 / THE RECORDS
Bookkeepers maintain the file.
Transactions, receipts, asset records, and entity activity stay connected throughout the year.
WEALTH STRATEGIST GROUPACCOUNTING & TRUSTEE LITERACY
The return has to tell the same story as the structure. The people preparing it should know your file.
STRATEGY, ACCOUNTING & TRUSTEE LITERACY
Your trust, ministry, and operating companies belong in a coordinated conversation.
01 / THE RECORDS
Transactions, receipts, asset records, and entity activity stay connected throughout the year.
02 / THE RETURNS
The returns follow the documented facts. Your engagement identifies the filings your entities require.
03 / THE LITERACY
The 1041 School and strategist support help you read the work, ask better questions, and participate in decisions.
OUR ACCOUNTING TEAM
Your strategist works alongside a dedicated accounting firm. Accounting and tax services are performed by that firm under a separate engagement.
The accounting firm supports households, business owners, and trustees. WSG coordinates the estate strategy with the professionals preparing your books and returns. Each engagement identifies who provides the work and what is included.
The accounting firm confirms its scope and fees before work begins. Included WSG trust-program onboarding and first-year filing are described below.
THE SUPPORT BEHIND THE SERVICE
Organized records. Prepared returns. Trustee education. People you can call when the next decision arrives.
THE BOOKS
Asset records. Documented transfers. Entity contracts. Receipts. Policy activity. Distributions. Each transaction needs a record and a place in the books.
The team meets with you during the year so the return reflects documented activity. We rehearse year-end before the filing deadline arrives.
THE FILINGS
Form 1041 for estates and trusts. Form 1040 for individuals. Form 1065 for partnerships. Form 1120 for C corporations. Form 1120-S for S corporations. Your engagement identifies the filings required for your entities.
Retained trust income and gains are evaluated under the applicable tax rules. Contracts document the work and rights involved. A label on a ledger is never a substitute for the underlying transaction.
THE 1041 SCHOOL
Twelve modules of trustee literacy. Asset identification. Cost basis. Bills of Sale. Ledgers. QuickBooks. Income and distributions. Reading the 1041. Preparing for the accountant.
The curriculum is part of the coaching program. Your own entities and records give the lessons a purpose. You should understand what you are approving and which questions to ask.
ONBOARDING
The trust program includes five hours with the accounting onboarding team and first-year Form 1041 preparation and filing. The dedicated accounting firm provides the accounting onboarding and filing work. Continuing bookkeeping, tax strategy, and filing services are defined in its separate engagement.
A dedicated strategist. Quarterly huddles. A year-end rehearsal. A team you can return to when the next decision arrives.
