01 / FORMATION
Establish the foundation.
Begin with your faith and the work you intend to carry out. Your mission, governance, and founding instruments give that work an operating foundation.
WEALTH STRATEGIST GROUPPRIVATE FAMILY MINISTRY
A coached ministry program. Formation, curriculum, and a team beside you as you put your faith into practice.
THE PRIVATE FAMILY MINISTRY PROGRAM
Your faith has work to do. We help you establish the structure, understand your responsibilities, and learn to direct resources toward your mission. Formation is the beginning. Curriculum, coaching, accounting support, and an ongoing relationship help you carry the work forward.
01 / FORMATION
Begin with your faith and the work you intend to carry out. Your mission, governance, and founding instruments give that work an operating foundation.
02 / CURRICULUM & COACHING
Learn how ownership, contributions, mission spending, approvals, and records fit together. Written curriculum and practical coaching give you a reference as you make decisions.
03 / YOUR TEAM
Work with your strategist and accounting team as your ministry becomes active. Bring questions, review the records, and build a rhythm you can sustain.
01 / FORMATION & GOVERNANCE
We build the founding instruments around your ministry’s mission, governance, and circumstances. Then we coach you through execution, banking, recordkeeping, and the first operating decisions.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
09FOUNDING INSTRUMENTSNine founding instruments organized for execution:
Your ministry name, mission, governance, and execution details are populated in the package for review and signing.
THE OPERATING PACKAGE
22SUPPORTING DOCUMENTSTwenty-two supporting documents for the decisions, records, and conversations that follow formation.
The package also includes banking conversation guidance, service-provider information, applicable housing and corporate contribution documentation, and an inventory of the delivered materials.
The team explains when each document applies.
02 / THE SIX MISSION BUCKETS
Learn how to title assets appropriately, direct funds toward the six mission buckets, and document their use. Ownership and transfers are reviewed with the appropriate professionals; spending follows the ministry’s qualifying work.
Worship and the spiritual work named in your charter.
Faith-based teaching, religious education, and homeschool-community activities that serve the ministry’s qualifying mission.
A mission for healers and caregivers: faith-based care, counseling, and service carried out within applicable professional requirements.
Outreach and documented charitable activities.
Benevolence carried out under a documented charitable policy.
The records, decisions, and administration that sustain the work.
The lesson is mission-driven stewardship. Ministry assets and contributions support qualifying work, not private gain. Personal household spending stays separate; benevolence follows a documented charitable policy. A mission label alone does not make an expense appropriate.
THE OPERATING DISCIPLINE
Minute. Approve. Pay. Class. File.
Record the decision. Obtain approval. Document the payment. Classify the transaction. File the record.
Record the decision.
Obtain approval.
Document the payment.
Classify the transaction.
File the record.
03 / COACHING & ACTIVATION
We coach you through the operating steps: formation, execution, banking, contributions, asset titling, mission spending, and recordkeeping. Written curriculum and practical scripts give you something to return to. Your strategist stays in the conversation; the accounting team helps you keep the financial record aligned with the work.
THE FIRST OPERATING STEPS
Discovery. Formation. Execution. Banking. Operation.
We discuss your faith, mission, family, and financial picture. If the program fits, the team prepares the instruments for review.
The team coaches execution, including the execution and notary visit.
The EIN application. The bank account conversation. We support the banking process; approval and timing depend on the institution and the facts.
Your first donation receipt. Your first minutes. Your first classified expenditure.
An established organization with its EIN, dedicated account, governing records, and documented activities. Stay engaged with the team, bring the decisions you need to work through, and continue learning as your mission develops.
WHY THE PROGRAM MATTERS
A template or an AI-generated answer can leave you with gaps you do not recognize. Decisions about ownership, contributions, and spending carry real consequences. Our program pairs formation with curriculum, coaching, and professional review, so you understand your responsibilities and have support as you put them into practice.
04 / QUALIFICATION & RECORDS
THE CHURCH & ITS OPERATIONS
Qualifying churches that meet §501(c)(3) requirements are automatically exempt. Section 508(c)(1)(A) removes the requirement to apply for recognition.
Church qualification depends on the organization’s actual character and operations, not its name or a declaration. Qualifying churches generally do not file Form 990.
CONTRIBUTIONS & RECORDS
Eligible gifts to qualifying organizations may be deductible under §170. Cash gifts can fall under the 60% AGI ceiling; the applicable deduction rules, substantiation, and the 2026 floor for itemizers are reviewed with the accounting team.
Contributions are gifts to the organization for its qualifying work. They are not a way to retain personal use of donated money. Receipts and governance must reflect the actual transaction.
UNDERSTAND THE FOUNDATION
Your freedom to practice your faith has a legal foundation. The program helps you understand that foundation alongside the responsibility to operate a genuine ministry.
The First Amendment protects the free exercise of religion. The Religious Freedom Restoration Act adds protections against substantial burdens imposed by the federal government, subject to its compelling-interest and least-restrictive-means test. These protections support religious practice; their application depends on the facts.
Read the Department of Justice explanationChurches meeting §501(c)(3)’s requirements are automatically considered tax exempt. Section 508(c)(1)(A) provides the exception from the application requirements. IRS Publication 1828 explains the exemption, filing exceptions, and operating responsibilities. Qualification follows the organization’s actual character and activities.
Read IRS Publication 1828Section 7611 establishes special procedures for church tax inquiries and examinations, including a written reasonable-belief requirement and notice procedures. The statute has limits and exceptions. It protects a process; it does not remove the responsibility to keep accurate records or meet applicable tax obligations.
